The interactive Aurora Revelare science exhibition narrates and teaches you about the birth of northern lights and their mechanisms. All twelve attractions of the exhibition examine four primary themes: sun, plasma, magnetism, and aurora borealis.
The exhibition explains how northern lights can be observed and photographed, what solar wind has to do with the phenomena, and what space weather means. You will learn more about things like color spectrums of substances, and also how different planets would smell based on their atmospheric compositions.

You can go on an aurora trip too: ride a snowmobile simulator into wintery scenery and watch northern lights glow upon the skies.
All photographs of northern lights have been taken within the Oulu2026 region.
